Hello, friends!
Summer is still pretty brutal down here in Atlanta, but we’ve been plugging away at the Corebook and we’re happy to say that we are 99% percent done (waiting on two final pieces of art to insert) and should be sending the book to the publisher for a proof in the next week or so! This means we hope to start shipping backer rewards within the next month.
The good news is that an overwhelming majority of you have returned your backer surveys. The bad news is that many of you still have not, which means we have NO WAY to send you any backer rewards. We’re always happy for donations, but what we’d really like is for you to get what you paid for. If you haven’t responded yet, please do!
Additionally, we will be locking address changes on September 15th. If your address has changed in the last six months (wow, has it been that long?) make sure we have an updated address. Again, we’re sure whoever lives at your old address would be super stoked to get a Sagas of Midgard Kickstarter edition Corebook BUT we have to imagine you’d prefer to get it instead.
James Cornell is an Emmy-award winning Senior Animator on the FXX Show Archer. If you’ve been paying attention at all, James’ work on our cover should already speak for itself. However, we also commissioned him to do an awful lot of the interior art for the Corebook. He. Absolutely. Crushed. It. Check it out:
For those of you following along who are not Backers, we’ll have information about Preorders and Retail soon, as well as future expansions and Sagas of Midgard products. We have a pretty good idea when we’re going to launch, but the most important thing is to make sure all of our backers get the rewards they paid for before we “go live” to the rest of the world. Stay tuned for an announcement…
As always, a big thanks to all of you for your support. We just passed the two year anniversary of the first time we scratched out some ideas for an RPG. It’s amazing how far we’ve come, and we couldn’t have done it without you.
Till next time,
Nick
